I have been teaching in Alberta since 2003. I began my teaching career in Blue Hills, AB. I started out in a grade 2 classroom and then moved to Grade 4/5 the next year. After two years up north, I decided to move south to Red Deer and have been here ever since. Over the years, I have enjoyed teaching many different grades in a few different schools in Red Deer. In September of 2010, I started teaching at Mattie McCullough Elementary School in Grade 1. The following year, I moved to teach Grade 3 and presently continue to enjoy teaching Grade 3 at MMES. In 2015, I happily received my 10 year pin with Red Deer Public Schools.
A little bit about me:
I live in Blackfalds with my spouse, Brett, and we have a 7 year old chocolate lab named Jake who we absolutely adore.
Some recreational activities I enjoy are hiking, quading, golfing, camping and fishing. I love the outdoors and visiting my family in SK on the farm where I grew up.
I look forward to seeing you around the school.
