4145 46 Street Red Deer, AB
My name is Srta. Moore and I am so excited to join the wonderful family and community this year at Escuela Vista Grande! I will be the homeroom teacher for both English and Spanish subjects in grade 2M.
I was born and raised in Central Alberta, spending most of my years in Sylvan Lake. After graduating, I attended both Red Deer College and the University of Alberta to earn my Bachelor of Elementary Education degree with a minor in Spanish, taking a semester off in between to study in Costa Rica. I then moved to Guadalajara, Mexico for two years to teach first grade at an Alberta-accredited school before returning to Red Deer last year to teach grade two at Mattie McCullough.
I am a very patient and compassionate teacher who loves learning and creating positive and engaging learning experiences for my students in our classroom community.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, traveling, photography, hiking, practicing Spanish, doing yoga, and watching episodes of one of my favourite series--This is Us.
I have been passionate about Spanish and Latin culture since elementary school, so I am very excited to have the opportunity to share my passion and excitement with my new students and to learn and grow alongside them!
